This is a true log cabin in the woods adjoining 9,000 acres of Chattahoochee National Forest. The home is on a small creek in a valley by Taylor's Ridge with private trails to the top of the mountain. There is a large stone fireplace in the den. Though it is a rustic setting we have great WIFI and streaming 4K HDR TV. We have space and facilities for dog and horse owners. Cloudland Canyon, Jarrod's Place Bike Park, Dalton, GA, and Chattanooga, TN are nearby and great day time destinations.

This rustic “tiny apartment” is the secret you wouldn’t even know was there (basement apartment). With kitchen, full bathroom, queen sized bed and convertible couch, this is all you could hope for from tiny space living! We have several books and board games to enjoy your time together and the 50” flatscreen is there, just in case reading and games arent your thing. If you need a quiet place to just get away for a while, or a clean place to lay your head, we’re here to help!

Apartment is attached to a lovely home but closed off and has a separate porch entry overlooking the front yard pond. Home is located on a peaceful 32 acre property that is also home to donkey, chickens, and two barn cats. Nearby activities include the Chickamauga Battlefield, Cloudland Canyon State Park, downtown Chickamauga, hiking, biking and climbing.
