The Yellow Farmhouse

This main part of this house was built around the early 1900s. It hasn't had major updates since the 1960s. As such, it comes with some expected quirks. Our goal has been to make this older farmhouse a place of refreshment and rest, providing the basic amenities modern guests have come to expect, while maintaining an atmosphere of days gone by. We hope our guests feel welcome and at peace during their stay with us.

"Rest A While". Enjoy our private guest suite that features a large main living area where the kitchenette and dining area are also located, a separate bedroom and private bath. This suite is located on the lower level of our raised ranch and requires the ability to use six steps. Check yourself in at the private front entrance with keypad. Driveway parking spot with paved lighted walkway to the entrance.

The Old Home Place is an 1870s farmhouse tucked into a rural Ohio valley. This home has been lived in and loved for generations. It’s not polished and fancy, but it's solid, warm, and real. It is very secluded and quiet on a country lane with very little traffic, perfect for taking quiet walks and enjoying nature.
