The cottage is located on our 80 acre farmstead in the bucolic rolling hills of Western Wisconsin just over an hour from the Twin Cities. Relax, create, or dream in this peaceful setting. Cherish time with loved ones. Hike along the creek, woodlands and fields. Enjoy the plentiful birds and wildlife. Bring your bike in the summer, and snow shoes in the winter. Cozy up to the wood stove with a hot beverage. Work remotely with our high speed WiFi. We welcome up to two dogs for an additional fee.

Witt's End, a relaxing Northwoods Lakeside Retreat

Our property on Little Gillett Lake is a special place. The cottage is new, but exudes the charm and character of classic Northwoods Americana. The clear, beautiful lake allows access to Big Gillett Lake and a tributary of the Oconto River by paddle. The Nicolet National Forest offers trails while nearby larger lakes provide beaches and access for motor boats. Swim, paddle, fish, snowshoe, ATV, snowmobile, hike, eat, chill... come enjoy some worry free relaxation or step away for an adventure!

The Farmhouse, a serene lakefront cottage, provides a relaxing holiday away from the hustle & bustle of cities & close neighbors. This 2 bedroom/2 bath home with 2 large living spaces awaits you at the end of a ¾ mile long private dead-end road. It is the only residence located on a scenic 20 acre lake abounding with frogs, turtles, muskrats, ducks, geese, & eagles. Enjoy the tranquility from the large lakeside deck or roast marshmallows over a fire in the private outdoor firepit. No pets.

Charming Cottage on Wilson Lake

With a queen bedroom, sitting room/guest room with a futon and cable tv, bathroom with shower, and a complete kitchen, it is a cozy retreat for a couple or single traveler looking for privacy and relaxation. The cottage is located on Wilson Lake, part of Phillips Chain of Lakes. There is a small beach area with a wonderful fire pit with free fire wood, picnic bench and swim raft located on the property. We offer use of our Canoes, Kayaks and a paddle board free of charge to all guests.

My place is 10 minutes from downtown La Crosse, close to the airport, but you'll feel a world away. You’ll love my place because of the peace and quiet, but mostly THE VIEWS. All the modern conveniences of dishwasher, microwave, shower and stove/fridge, washer & dryer. You'll never see the same sunset! Get away for a restful stay at this scenic hidden gem of Vernon County. Timber Coulee Creek, a Class 1 trout stream, ripples right through the backyard. You will enjoy watching deer and turkey as they amble through the property. Bald eagles soar overhead and fish jump in the stream.
