Originally built in the 13th century, Jinks Cottage was home to the village cobbler (called Jinks), his wife and six children. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. Dan y Berllan is one of two cottages on a working hill farm in the Brecon Beacons National Park, it means "under the orchard" The cottages are self catering but should you not wish to cook, to the top of our drive is The Crown Inn , a lovely village pub serving amazing food. The market town Abergavenny is all but a stone's throw away by car. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with amazing walks ,the cottage is perfected located to take a stroll or a long trek .

Light, airy and welcoming with zip and link beds. We can accommodate 2-4 flexible to your needs. We are in a great spot for the Forest of Dean, the Brecon Beacons, Bike Park Wales, Cannop Cycle Centre and the Offa’s Dyke Path. There are lovely walks right from the door and so much to do nearby!

The property is in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park between the Iron Heritage town of Merthyr and Brecon. There is walking and biking from the front door, the Brecon Mountain Railway and Bike Park Wales are also close at hand.
