Within walking distance to Appalachian Ski Mountain, and close to Blowing Rock and Boone; also close to Tweetsie RR (you can hear the whistle blow from the back deck!). Creatively decorated, with well equipped kitchen and a large, "live-edge" dining room table. There is also a bonus room we call the Tree House; a great place to relax or play games. Nice outdoor spaces, including fire pit and deck.

Payne Branch River retreat (B) is nestled on eleven acres of privately owned riverfront property in Blowing Rock, NC. The New River runs directly in front of the property and provides unique access to pristine, hatchery supported trout fishing. We are ten minutes from Appalachian Ski Mountain and two miles from downtown Boone with easy access to 321. This retreat is the perfect getaway for exploring all the High Country has to offer. Primary renter mush be at least 25 years old to book.
