Heart of Gold in Gibbston Valley

Warbrick Cottage is a renovated historic gold miners cottage set in the heart of Gibbston which belonged to Samuel Warbrick back in 1865. The cottage has a double bed & a sofa bed. The kitchen includes a fridge, 2 ring burner and a combo microwave oven. There is a BBQ. The cottage is semi open plan. Has a good size bathroom with shower, bath, sink & toilet. Access to the 45th parallel is a short drive or 20-minute walk away. 7 minutes drive to Cromwell township, 35 minutes to Wanaka lakefront and 50 minutes to Queenstown airport. Our cottage is self-contained and on the same section as our home.

This cottage is close to Old Cromwell Historic Precinct - a great place to potter around the cafes, Art galleries and little shops. Nearby are vineyards, wineries, orchards and skifields. Lake Dunstan is literally 3 minutes walk from your door. There are lots of walks in the area and you couldnt be closer to the new bike track to Clyde! Highlands is close by and you are 40 minutes from both Queenstown and Wanaka. This is a great place to base yourself to explore Central Otago.
