Welcome to the A-frame at Finch Creek. A one-of-a-kind Northern Michigan getaway overlooking Finch Creek and completely surrounded by the Grass River Natural Area. We renovated this 1970s cabin from the ground up and designed it to feel open and connected to the landscape. With 20-foot vaulted ceilings, massive picture windows, a fireplace to curl up next to, and just minutes from some of the most stunning lakes in the state, it’s the perfect home base for exploring or doing nothing at all.

The chalet offers a cozy space for families and friends to relax!

Shanty Creek Condo w/ Stunning Lake Bellaire Views

This spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bed, 680 sq. ft. condo sleeps 4 and is located in Summit Village at Shanty Creek Resort. Features a full kitchen, electric fireplace, in unit laundry, and private deck with stunning Lake Bellaire sunset views. You'll be in the heart of Shanty Creek! It's only a short walk to the Summit Golf Course & Shanty Town. You will have access to the beach club on Lake Bellaire and the Snowshoe outdoor pool. As of March 2026, resort pool access is no longer included.

It’s a perfect place if you want quiet, solitude, and a private place to roam through the 33 acres of open sky, rolling hills, an antique apple orchard, and whispering pines. 2 miles to downtown Bellaire, 50 minutes to Traverse City or Gaylord. Adjacent to the Glacial Hills biking and hiking trails.

Elkhorn Cabin:Ultra Cozy Experience: New King Bed

The Elkhorn Log Cabin, located in the scenic town of Wolverine, Michigan, has undergone a meticulous restoration to create an ambiance of warmth and charm. The restoration process involved the careful use of locally sourced, reclaimed woods and materials, resulting in a rustic yet refined atmosphere. The strategically placed windows provide stunning views of the surrounding forest and encourage natural airflow. In my opinion there is not many places that surpass this idyllic location.

Enjoy the coziness of a bygone era while staying in this 1940s quaint, storybook log cabin. The Hawks Nest has been lovingly restored to its original glory while having all the modern-day amenities woven through its clean 380 sq. ft. space. Retreat to the spacious covered porch to relax and view the acre-and-half property leading down to 100ft of 6Mile Lake frontage. Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .

The perfect launching point for all NW Michigan has to offer.

Sommer's Retreat is a year round northwoods cabin nestled in the pines and surrounded by a 300 acre nature preserve. Our location is a short distance from the Jordan River Valley and within 20 minutes of the south arm of Lake Charlevoix, Torch Lake, Lake Michigan, Shanty Creek Schuss Mountain Resorts, Glacial Hills, orchards and farm markets. The cabin is a spacious two story retreat that will sleep 6 in two bedrooms and a loft. Guests have access to cabin wifi.
