It’s 15 mins from the I75 exit in Berea KY and less than an hour south of Lexington KY. Places of interest like the Berea College Campus, Owsley Fork Lake, the Indian Fort “ Pinnacles” Hiking Trails and Anglin Falls are 10 minutes away. It’s a 30 minute drive to Renfro Valley and 75 minutes to the countless trails in Red River Gorge and Cumberland Falls State Resort Park.

Want to GET THE BLOOD PUMPING? 8400 acres of forest behind you, 9 miles of hiking trails, 1.2 miles from the lodge to the new John B. Stephenson, run, walk, bike trail. Additional 2.1 miles will get you into Berea, (Arts & Crafts Capital of Ky.) or 1.1 miles the other way to Indian Fort Mountain. Plenty "to do" or "not".

Located just 5 miles from town, it is close enough to find great dining options and visit all that Berea has to offer, yet far enough away to provide serene tranquility and peace.

The Artist's Tranquil Nest & Studio

Nestled near Central Kentucky Wildlife Reserve, The Nest offers an entire upper floor for one price with two private rooms: Chickadee’s Nest (queen) & Sparrow's Nest (king and trundle), a Gathering room with a sleeper sofa, Paris Coffee Room, bird bath (bathroom), bird perch (deck), wifi, monitor/cable in each room. Art classes are offered upon request by children's book author/illustrator, Lori McKeel, for an additional fee. Separate entrance and plenty of privacy and parking.

High on Berea

High On Berea is a lovely home that was built in 1938. The home sleeps 4 people. The space includes a kitchen, dining room, bathroom, living room and 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has a double bed. Living quarters are on one level with 4 stairs leading into the house and 2 stairs at the curb of house. Parking is available in driveway to the left of the home and in the back yard. City ordnance does not allow parking in front of the house.

Beautiful Craftsman style Bungalow in the heart of Berea. This two bedroom, two bath cottage has off street parking and is a short walk to Artisan Village/Old Town, galleries, shoppes, and cafes. Seclusion is a completely custom, hand-crafted cabin complete with a treehouse room, koi pond, rocky landscape, observatory tower and more in an unbeatable location. This cabin is located just a mile or two off the Slade, KY exit on top of a ridge in Red River Gorge. Built by Paul Rhodes in his spare time, this passion project took over six years to complete and boasts a uniqueness unrivaled by other accommodations.
