Facilities include a 50" smart tv, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, table and chairs. Free WiFi. On street parking outside the property. I am happy to share local knowledge - places to visit, walk, eat and swim.

You'll find a hanging rail & chest of drawers for storage. The cabin is in a separate area of the property with its own private garden/patio. Parking is available.

Oak Tree Hut

Unfortunately no dogs/children/infants are allowed. Oak Tree Hut is situated on our working sheep farm in Dumfries and Galloway. The views from the hut looks over St John’s Town of Dalry and up onto the Rhinns of Kells. Lie in bed watching the sunrise and sit on the verandah or soak in the outside bath while watching the sunset. Watch the bird life and livestock peacefully fly and amble by. The hut has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

Just a few minutes walk into the regions 'food town' The Pink House is a great base for exploring all our beautiful region has to offer. Traditionally decorated to give a real Scottish country cottage feel, the cottage is perfectly located for walkers and cyclists as well as those looking for a quiet break but like to be near local amenities.

Charming chalet in peaceful rural location.

Our chalet is in our large, well managed garden. While it is near our house and we are happy to chat, we always respect peoples privacy. This is a very peaceful place where you can sit outside and watch the flames of the fire pit at night or stay in and have a cosy evening. Our neighbours are all of the four legged variety so some countryside noises are to be expected but the cows love to come and greet you at the wall. Parking space in garden

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Situated on a family farm surrounded by wildlife such as protected ospreys and red kites. Two miles outside Castle Douglas food town, embedded amongst lovely local walks and attractions. We are also only 6 miles from the gorgeous town of Kirkcudbright with a range of lovely shops and eateries at the harbour front. This is the perfect peaceful and cosy getaway!
