Mudumalai Tiger Reserve is located in the Nilgiris District of Tamil Nadu state spread over 321 sq.km. at the tri-junction of three states, viz, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu and it plays an unique role by forming part of the Nilgiris Biosphere Reserve, The Reserve has tall grasses, commonly referred to as “Elephant Grass”, Bamboo of the giant variety, valuable timber species like Teak, Rosewood, etc,. There are several species of endemic flora. Such habitat is inhabited wildlife.

In the night one can hear Tiger roars, Elephant trumpets & Alarm calls from the forest.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. It is situared 8 km from mysore ring road Near sathagalli bus station. It is an fruit garden with all kinds of fruits. It is on main road of shooting mahadevpura and mysore and 700 mtrs from the village called Taripura. The place is secured with cctv camera and solar fencing to the area. care taker is living in the premises.
