This snug, grass-roofed eco-cabin offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a warm Irish welcome, mountain walks on the Beara Way or snorkelling through nearby reefs. Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

Cottage is Off Grid, lights and fridge are solar powered,. Cooker, hot water, heating and shower are powered by gas.

We have a lovely outside covered decking area completely fenced and gated. Your space is private and we are only over the hedge if you need anything. We are 5mins (car) and 30min (walking) from Cobh Town centre so car recommended.

Nesbitt is a land boat set in its own private garden, overlooked by 3 donkeys. She has electricity, full cooking, toilet and showering facilities on board, albeit all quite compact! The stone cottage which is over 250 years old has been recently renovated and retains its traditional style: stone and white-washed walls, inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. There are also modern conveniences: heating, Wifi, TV with Netflix and fully equipped kitchen.
