With spectacular far reaching views Stride’s Barn is situated 9 miles from the Cathedral City of Salisbury and 15 miles from Southampton . An ideal base to explore the local areas including many walks, pubs , restaurants, golf clubs and other tourist attractions such as Stonehenge and Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World . Features inside include a double bed, trap-door bath, toilet, and large ‘wagon wheel’ window with stunning views. Outdoors is the Wild Cherry Barn with chiminea fireplace and a saloon seating area with pizza oven and campfire with BBQ grill. The Wagon in the Woods is a bespoke, self-contained little place in the country with a private woodland, ideal for those wanting a tranquil and restful getaway.

Your escape to Woodrest starts with a beautiful walk through ancient woodland to a private and secluded meadow. We have two hand built cabins each set in their own acre of meadow. On arrival you will be met with the most stunning views of the Meon Valley. This unique stay allows you to switch off and enjoy the benefits of being on a family run farm, which has footpaths and woodland for you to explore. The South Downs Way is a short hike away, which leads to a wonderful nature reserve.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway in central Romsey with far reaching countryside views and secure gated private parking. Perfect for classic car enthusiasts and car events at Beaulieu & Goodwood. Romsey town, the Abbey and all the delights that Romsey has to offer is a 5 minute walk. A 10 minute drive to Peppa Pig World & Paultons Park and 20 minutes to the New Forest and 35 minutes to the coast. Close to Train and Bus stations for visits to attractions further afield.

Our cottage is just inside the New Forest national park in a quiet, rural location easy to access from the M27 or the A36, and a 10-minute stroll to Paultons Park. Private parking and a spacious garden. There are many places to visit locally and some lovely walks nearby in the New Forest. The easy access to main roads means Southampton is only 20 minutes away, Winchester 25 minutes, Salisbury 25 minutes and the sandy beaches of Bournemouth only a 30-minute drive.
