Wifi, electricity, hot water, and with private outdoor pit toilet/“outhouse”, and shared shower and WD and Near 2 other cabins on our “headquarter's site”, which is restricted to only 5 paying guests total. This is a working homestead, you’ll see us around being busy!

Located in the rolling hills of Homer, just 20 min. from Downtown, this stunning old homestead offers an authentic Alaskan experience with mountain views! Accommodations: 3 beds (1 Queen, 2 Twins), a full kitchen w/running water, modern Toyo heater and wood stove, a tidy outhouse, and a genuine Nordic Spa (sauna/coldplunge). The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.

This sweet two story, 750 sf cabin has a panoramic view of Kachemak Bay, the Kenai Mountain Range and out to the Homer Spit.The Upstairs is ONE large bedroom with one queen bed and two twin beds that can be put together to be one large bed. The property has two decks which face the bay, so there is always a spot to sit and enjoy the tranquil views.
