Fabulous self-catering apartment for 2 people (+1 small/medium sized dog). This 18th Century cow byre has been lovingly restored by the owners, retaining the original stone walls. An ideal space to get away from it all, enjoy peace and quiet in front of a wood-burning stove, whilst taking in the amazing views from Lochbay to the Outer Hebrides. The studio is detached but in the same grounds as our house. It has its own private entrance and parking. You enter via the fully fitted and equipped kitchen: dishwasher, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave, induction hob, electric fan oven, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware. From the kitchen you then enter the open-plan lounge/bedroom where there is a king sized bed with feather and down duvet and pillows and white bed linen and towels.

Gate Lodge on Conservation Farm Isle of Skye

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. Falasgair is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.

No.9 is a traditionally built croft house situated in beautiful Glendale! A perfect base for walking and exploring this very special part of the world. Glendale lies 8 miles , north west , from Dunvegan where there are a couple of restaurants, bakeries, cafes, a petrol station and a very well stocked licensed grocery. Glendale is well served by a Post Office which also supplies all the basics...and much more! Beautiful Neist Point is about 4 miles from Croft No.9.
