Our relaxing country home has spectacular sunset/sunrise views and amazing views of the stars in the night sky.The peaceful location, surrounded by rolling farm land, makes for the perfect place to stay. It is also surrounded by the best hunting and fishing locations in the Mid-west.The house is located only 10 miles from Lovewell State Park, 10 miles from the Jamestown Marsh Wildlife area, and 40 miles from Waconda Lake . Also, Belleville, Beloit and Concordia are all within a 30 minute drive.

Abilene Lake Cabin, Outside of Town

Update: Due to drought over the past several months, our lake is experiencing extremely low water level. It’s still a great little place to stay, but we do not have a full lake at this time! Sleep well on the murphy bed w/queen memory foam mattress. Also a queen sofa sleeper. Kitchen w/essentials, Keurig, coffee, bottled water, snacks. Bring your groceries to store in the fridge during your stay. Stove/micro. Towels, shampoo, soap, hairdryer. Iron. RokuTV plus 11more channels. WiFi. Clean&tidy!

Highway House rural home, private & large area.

We call this rural acreage the highway house. It's located in the country with ample parking available. It also is wonderfully accessible to numerous hunting locales for hunters. It's within 10 miles to the Kirwin Wildlife Refuge, and there's great hunting opportunities for deer, pheasant, and other wildlife nearby. The house is located directly off highway 36, so the roads are always accessible. Large flat screen tv with ROKU, and Wifi are provided. Several recliners in living room area.

Parliament Place

Parliament Place is a charming country brick structure built in the early 1950's. It is intended to be a quiet retreat from the hustle & bustle of city life where one can stay secluded, watch movies on the large screen TV , connect your computer or take a walk. The third bedroom doubles as a game room or as we call it, the "rest" room where one can read a book, play cards, put a puzzle together or as the title suggests, simply just relax and take a nap in the basket chair or on the twin bed.

Quiet country stay just off I-70 with a playground and no pet fee! We welcome you to our rehabbed 1906 guest house with modern comforts on 10 acre farm. Double bed, twin bed, couch, futon in loft. New tiled bathroom with rainfall shower & wand, kitchenette, coffee station, record, CD & cassette player, games, packnplay, iron & board, smart TV, back deck, goldfish in tank to feed, horses and cattle, and farm cats. Elm Street Lodge, located just one block from Main Street, is centrally located and is within walking distance to anything you will need for your stay.
