Welcome to rustic Burl Cottage! Walk, bike or drive the 3/4 of a mile to the center of the Village and Kenyon College. Situated down a long drive, surrounded by trees, this cozy, rustic cottage features 2 bdrms/1 bath. Make a meal in the eat in kitchen, snuggle up in front of the electric "wood stove" and watch a movie. The outdoorsy type? Enjoy our fire pit and some S'mores. Sip your morning coffee or tea on the deck while listening to the birds sing. You might even see a deer stroll by!

This rustic 2-bedroom cabin is conveniently located on large private pond just outside the city limits of Mt. Vernon with shopping, dining, brewery and entertainment. We are pet friendly (additional $50 per stay, max 2 pets) with all the modern convenience, fully stocked kitchen, 50" flat screen smart TV, washer/dryer and fast internet. Outdoor fireplace/grill is the perfect hangout just steps from deck overlooking the large pond. 4-person paddle boat is there for use during your stay.
