Step into Jinks Cottage and I hope you step into a real ‘home from home’. A cosy cottage with a fabulous & foodie local pub, right on Offa’s Dyke path. The emphasis is on luxury and comfort in this well-equipped, warm, welcoming cottage. Originally built in the 13th century, Jinks Cottage was home to the village cobbler (called Jinks), his wife and six children. Now carefully restored, it provides a spacious country retreat for four, plus your four-legged friends, as we’re very dog friendly!

The Barn, is part of our grade II listed welsh farm house. Set in 8 acres of lush fields (the Barn has 1/2 an acre of private garden with beautiful views of the welsh mountains and the Skirrid). It has been beautifully restored with loads of original features, given a new lease of life and a sense of fun. We don’t mind noise, we want people to have fun, it’s perfect for families and night owls alike. And we are dog friendly and child friendly. Perfectly set up for both to have a great time!

Breakfast ingredients are provided ( fresh bread every morning, butter, jams, cereals, yogurt, fruit compote, milk, tea and coffee, many home made and local)

We are 3.2 miles from the wonderful market town of Abergavenny, gateway to the Beacons National Park. We have amazing views of Skirrid Mountain and countryside. You can roam freely around our 5 acres of land/garden . We supply outside furniture and sole use of our external hot tub, please note it’s available for use all year around, a disclaimer to be signed prior to use.

Our stylish & cosy hideaway is the ultimate escape where you can re-wild yourself in acres of tranquility. Wander straight out the door onto the mountains taking in some breathtaking views. Return home to the sauna, soothe tired limbs & then relax by spinning some vinyl from the record collection, whilst the log burner crackles & the owls enthusiastically serenade as dusk sets in! Dan y Berllan is one of two cottages on a working hill farm in the Brecon Beacons National Park, it means "under the orchard" The cottages are self catering but should you not wish to cook, to the top of our drive is The Crown Inn , a lovely village pub serving amazing food. The market town Abergavenny is all but a stone's throw away by car. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with amazing walks ,the cottage is perfected located to take a stroll or a long trek .
