The Retreat Cottage

This cottage is set next to our house, with its own driveway, which parks 2/3 cars. The garden is semi enclosed, which is great for dogs, with a stream running through it.. There is a patio area with furniture for outside dining and a bbq. The nearest pub, The Maenllwyd Inn, is approx. 15 min walk via the road or a little longer through the woods. There is also a driveway leading into a wood which is perfect for strolls over to the nearby Draethen and Ruperra Castle and the beautiful views.

Fully renovated for your comfort, the lodge nestles on the side of Caerphilly Mountain - with views across the mountain and local golf course. And while you'll love this peaceful spot - you're less than a 20 min train ride away from the Welsh capital, Cardiff.
