The Moorings

The Moorings is a special place to stay in Oamaru. You will never tire of the view over the harbour. The home itself is immaculate and stylishly renovated. The beds and linen are excellent quality. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. The walk down the path to the house is well worth it. The home is close to the Penguin Colony, the old part of town and Scott's Brewery. Unfortunately, the house is not child-friendly. We are unable to take bookings which include young children.

This is an entire apartment with views to the Ocean. It is cosy and quiet and only 5 minutes from Oamaru but set in a beautiful rural environment. A new kitchen, a cosy loungeroom and private courtyard with barbeque and separate entrance. Tea, coffee, milk and basic supplies in the pantry, homemade bread and a sample of our own honey . This beach bungalow has the ocean literally at its doorstep. This hidden gem is very conveniently located, close (walking distance) to our town centre with cafes, restaurants and bars overlooking our beautiful Bay. Our coastal walking track runs directly past this house, which invites safe and scenic walks or mountain biking. Aquatic centre and tennis courts are also just a stone throw away. Supermarket and Fast food options just a walk across the park.
