Welcome to the Nuthatch, a cozy cabin in the woods outside Fairbanks. This dog-friendly little cabin is just 7 miles from town but surrounded by the boreal forest. This is glamping at its best, a solid roof, warm place, bed, WiFi, and tv. This is a “dry” cabin, with an outhouse but no running water (no shower. Look out for wildlife and northern lights or roast a s’more over the campfire. If you have more guests, there is an additional cabin on the property "Come Visit the Warbler", holds four.

I spent over two years looking for the best place to have an Airbnb in the area, and this was the winning spot! It is less than 20 minutes from the airport. You are in a quiet, peaceful place with over 40 acres of trees and wildlife around. The home is on Murphy Dome which is the best point to see the lights and you can easily see the lights from the comfort of this comfy vacation home. Hunting, fishing, hiking...all walking distance! My car is available for rent as well if you need transport.

Our home is surrounded by forest and full of light. We have a view of the whole valley with amazing sunrises in the winter and year round opportunities to see wildlife. There is a huge covered patio and outdoor living area with a propane grill for summer. We love families and have toys, books, a playground/sandbox, baby items, tons of board games and TWO pianos! We live here much of the year and love to cook so it's very well equipped including a generator, wood stove, and emergency supplies.

RnR Homestead is located right off the Parks Hwy just 24 miles north of Denali National Park. The small town of Healy with restaurants and a grocery store is a ten minute drive south on the highway. It's bordered by state land and the northern section of Denali Park. The first floor has kitchen, bathroom & living space. The upstairs is bedrooms only.

Denali Get Away - 1 Room Cabin

We are located 16 miles north of the park entrance at 253.3 Parks Highway. One mile off the main highway, accessible by car. We have 6 cabins located on the north boundary of Denali National Park, high on a ridge, overlooking the Healy valley with a breathtaking view of the north side of the Alaska Range. Our Small Cabin has one queen bed and one single bed. There is a microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator. There is also a private bathroom with tub/shower.

Wilderness and Aurora views close to town - A charming cedar shake house perched on a bluff overlooking the Tanana River with a view of the Alaska Range mountains and northern lights when the weather permits. About 2000 square feet with 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Maximum occupancy in winter is 5 people if one person is willing to sleep on the very comfortable couch. Aurora viewable from within house if weather and aurora activity cooperate.
