Mary went above and beyond to accommodate The cabin is adorable with lots of nice touches, and the outdoors areas are simply amazing. The closet kitchen is well supplied . We actually cooked all but two meals during our week-long stay. The bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend "The Bear's Den" for your stay in the Franklin, NC area.

High Country Haven Camping and Cabins is a beautiful back to nature mountain experience. Located in Franklin NC 7 mins to downtown. 35-45 minutes to Bryson City, Dillsboro and Sylvia. This 1 bed queen 1 full bath with shower and tub. This cabin perfect getaway for a clean and cozy stay! Full kitchen, dining room and living room. Can sleep extra people on couch or queen air mattress for loft short ceiling good for kids. You will find cabin lodge decor welcoming to the mountains for your stay.

Our light & airy cabin is nestled on almost 4 acres of woodsy, mountainous terrain and is private and picturesque, yet still convenient to town. We love relaxing on the front porch, surrounded by nature and enjoying the sounds of the streams & views of the mountains. It is a peaceful cabin to relax & enjoy the cool breezes and scenery of the Smoky Mountains.

Ursa Minor Waterfall Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Relax listening to the creek and waterfall. You will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but you are less than 10 minutes from downtown Clayton. The charming city has shops, coffee, restaurants, a brewery and Wander North Georgia. A "lofty" perch - situated above a two car detached garage from the owner's residence - located atop Mulberry Mountain. Spacious bedroom with king bed includes a sitting area, queen sleeper sofa in living area, and a fully equipped kitchen. We provide a coffeemaker with coffee and filters, a Keurig machine with coffee pods. Included also is a full sized oven and stove, full-sized refrigerator, a toaster, a blender, a counter top toaster oven and a microwave. NOW HAVE STARLINK WI-FI

This well-equipped cabin is only 3 miles to downtown Franklin (8 minute drive). There is also a Walmart just two miles away. Close to many activities including white water rafting, hiking, biking, waterfalls and scenic drives. 30 minutes to Highlands for great shopping & Dry Falls!

The Extra House

We have a comfortable Extra House we call it. Extra cozy extra cute Extra House. The house is right on the Tallulah River in Towns County. There is fishing/swimming hole about 100 ' up river and a waterfall up a trail behind the Big House about a 30 minute hike up and back. Longer if you jump in the falls. Trout fishing out the door and 6 miles of fishing along the main road. We have a 250' zipline into a swiming pond or get off before the water. Lots of hiking trails and waterfalls.
