Stable Studio at Airlie Castle

A bright and comfortable open-plan space on the first floor of the old stable block on the Airlie estate, in the spectacular Angus Glens. High beamed ceilings give a spacious feel to the main room. Everything here is made from Douglas Fir ply, including walls, floor and furniture. It'll feel very cosy here at night with the lamps lit, the wood fire and the large bed with feather pillows and wool blankets. The loo and bathroom are down 4 steps, please note no dividing door. Minimum stay 1 night.

The decor is a mix between birch ply panelling and polished cement, giving it a modern Scandi/Scottish feel, yet not losing its original charm and farm history. Nochty Studio is a eco cabin located on the edge of the small village of Bellabeg in the Cairngorm National Park, in close proximity to Ballater, Braemar, Royal Deeside and on the edge of Moray. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.
