The 111 Bunkhouse is a very unique 2000 sf renovated barn located in the heart of the Shawnee National Forest. The view is breathtaking. When you step in, you’ll be awed by the beautiful cedar timbers, barn wood, sliding doors and rustic decor. Bring your friends or entire family. There’s four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two kitchens and two sofa beds. We’re located in Pope County approximately 10 miles south of Harrisburg. New construction Cabin. Relax at this 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin in the woods. Surround by the Shawnee National forest, you have miles and miles of trails to hike and explore. If you would rather stay home and relax, there is a fully equipped kitchen, TVs in family room and both bedrooms, shuffle board, covered porch with furniture, a fit pit, and a park style grill. Just a 15 minute drive to Golconda - you are close enough to civilization but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet

The Potel Tiny Home 14x40

Tiny home nestled on the edge of the Shawnee National Forest. A cozy one bedroom with full closet and stacked washer and dryer the bed is a full size. Kitchen with stove, fridge and microwave. It does not have a dishwasher. Living room has a smart TV sign in to your Netflix, Sling, YouTube TV etc. Wi-fi provided. No cable. Full bathroom with shower unit. Some of our guest has said sitting on the porch watching the beautiful sunsets each night was an added bonus for staying with us.

Once a laundromat, the history is in the details, built in 1928 it now has been turned into a beautiful lodge. Stay, relax by the river or explore nearby attractions and sightseeing- From Garden of the Gods, hiking the Shawnee National Forest to Cave-in-Rock, located on the Ohio Scenic Byway. The Riverside Lodge is a hop, skip and jump to all things Southern Illinois.

We also packed as many amenities as we could into this property including an oversized 6-Person hot tub, 500 MBPS fiber internet, outdoor tv, fire pit table, Weber grill, hammock swings, custom bathroom with rainfall shower, full kitchen, coffee bar, king & queen sized beds, bean bag toss, board games and much more!

We might call this place a hideaway but the nearby activities and amenities are too numerous to list! Enjoy the secluded forest location surrounded by towering trees, abundant wildlife, and plenty of outdoor activities. Our cabin is just minutes away from the Trail of Tears, Dixon Springs State Park, the delicious Chocolate Factory, the towns of Golconda, Metropolis, and the bigger city of Paducah. NEW IN OCTOBER 2021: We have installed high-speed fiber optic WiFi to the cabin.

Bring the whole family or a group of friends to the riverside in the heart of Elizabethtown. We're across the road from the floating Fish Dock River Restaurant and a short walk to the ETown Tap. Plenty of parking, and river access across the road. Convenience store, liquor store and Mercantile with ice cream, coffee and specialty items within walking distance. About 15 mi to Garden of the Gods, 8 mi to Cave In Rock, and 11 mi to Golconda Marina.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful get away. 10 acre horse farm located near some of The Shawnee National Forest's best sights. Garden of the Gods, Rim Rock, Iron Furnace, and One Horse Gap are just a few that are minutes away. Feel free to fish in the ponds(catch and release), or relax on the porch after the days adventure. Accommodations for indoor storage of motorcycles or a topless jeep are available on the property upon request.
