Sightseeing

Well worth a visit, to walk with an African Elephant, Their steps are so slightly, as you walk in front of them, with their trunk resting in your palm. Gentle giants for sure.

Safety

Staying within the Kruger Park Lodge, there is good security - 24 hours, but nonetheless, always wise to not leave valuables lying around and avoid temptation (there are general workers onsite, suppliers, delivery vehicles and other guests), so best just to take care of your items. The chalets do have safes for guests to use to place their valuables in when they are out and about. In your vehicle - in general throughout South Africa - don't leave items visible in your car 'Smash and grabs' do occur at traffic lights or in parked vehicles.
