Whiskeytown is an excellent gem in Redding’s outdoor crown. The whiskeytown falls area is good if you want a smaller lake experience. At the same time, the main lake is great for all sorts of water activities.

Brandy Creek is conveniently located approximately 15 miles from Redding and is near the Oak Bottom Marina and Campground making this the perfect destination for your day out on the lake. Brandy Creek Marina offers Boat Slips. Brandy Creek Swim Beach features:

This magnificent waterfall is the tallest in Whiskeytown National Recreation Area at a towering 220 feet. This usually misty trail offers a change in climate which invites unique plants and animals. This trail connects to the Mill Creek Trail. This waterfall is moderately accessible by trail. A map of the trail to Whiskeytown Falls is available at the Whiskeytown Visitor Center. Not recommended with kids
