This is a unique rustic cabin on a private dirt road nestled on a mountain brook in the forest adjoining the Giant Mountain Wilderness Area. This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

2018 Brand New Lake Adirondack Rustic Chalet

Relax in a private brand new construction rustic lake house finished in 2018. Enjoy kayaking, tubing, fishing, or swimming in Adirondack Lake, few minute walk to town for dinner, drinks, entertainment. It is 20 minutes from Gore Mountain, many hiking trails, 15 minutes from the Adirondack Museum. Indian lake offers free of charge an ice skating rink, skates, and sledding area at their ski center. We offer snow shoes, cross country skis, sleds.We have a pool table and foose ball table to use.

Waterfront Artist Retreat

Our camp is located the heart of the Adirondacks in upstate NY . It is a beautiful four season cabin on Lake Abanakee . The camp is adorned with Adirondack art and furnishings made by my artisan friends and I. Lake Abanakee is a favorite for canoes, kayaks, photographers, fishermen and families. Enjoy glamping in our new screened in lean to or swimming and boating from our private beach. Although our camp looks like a rustic retreat, we have high speed internet and all the modern conveniences.

Amazing access to hiking from your backyard, a day on the lake around the corner, or skiing just 20 minutes away at Gore Mountain, New York’s largest Ski Resort.

Ski at Oak or Gore, Sauna, & Walk to Village

The Speculator Guest House is fully renovated to offer an elevated and thoughtful stay. Guests love the outdoor sauna, Sunday to Wednesday private chef brunch or dinner, espresso maker, fully stocked kitchen, and everything you need for a campfire under the string lights. Walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shops, or the sandy beach on Lake Pleasant (.6 miles). Each guest receives individualized local recommendations. We live in the area year round and love to share our favorite places.

***Guests must walk 420ft from the parking spot through the woods to reach the RV. There is a cart / sled for you to use. *In WINTER* The main trail will not be plowed. Welcome to The Indian Lake House, a 3-floor luxury lakefront home on Indian Lake, centrally located in the Adirondacks. Enjoy the perfect nature getaway with all the comforts of home. High-speed FIOS internet, whole-home standby generator, central air-conditioning, 7-person outdoor hot tub, Sauna, private dock, Tesla wall charger and more. The home sits on a hill 60 feet above lake level providing stunning views year-round. A short walk down the private gravel path brings you to the water.

This delightful newly-built cabin with gorgeous beautiful mountain views offers privacy and sounds of the brook below. Camp TwoSome is cozy, sweet and lovely. Located on a quiet road surrounded by woods. Elsewhere on our family compound, we offer a Japanese hot tub and cedar Sauna (available for private booking experiences), on-site walking trails and a new Bakery. Close to Gore and Garnet Hill for skiing. Glamping tents and other cabins available. In summer we offer wood fired pizza.

Located in the Village of Speculator, a beautiful place in the heart of the Adirondack Park. Right on the snowmobile trail. Kayakers can shove off from the lake right located nearby. Restaurants, pubs and a local grocery store minutes away. The cabin is perfect for 2. A third person will add a 25.00 per night fee. Due to allergy reasons we can accept no pets.
