Come and enjoy a rural retreat in our newly converted barn with unrivalled views over Exmoor and a cosy chic interior. Situated privately within a working farm, relax on the spacious patio, secluded garden or in the luxury hot tub. Each bedroom has a spacious ensuite with stand alone bath and walk-in shower. Underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burner. There is an EV charger at the barn. Beaches and moorland all within a half hour drive. Being within a working farm, sadly we cannot allow dogs.

17thC Threshing Barn in a peaceful Vineyard setting. Beautiful cob and stone barn with original beams and features. Entire house, sleeps two, detached from the main farm house, with private entrance doorway. The Threshing Barn is located in the heart of the village of Knowstone, on the edge of Exmoor in North Devon. Located close to the Two Moors Way between Dartmoor and Exmoor; the Michelin-starred Masons Arms a stroll away. Well behaved dog welcome (£30 fee); additional dog by agreement.

Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

Luxury lodging, doorstep Exmoor walks and cycling

Kennel Farm lies within the Exmoor National Park on the banks of the River Barle, 1 mile from the beautiful town of Dulverton. The farmhouse has been sympathetically renovated, keeping the original features whilst offering modern comforts. Guests are invited to enjoy picnics, wild swimming and campfires on the river bank, and walk through the surrounding Arboretum and 17 acres of parkland. A place to totally switch off, surrounded by wildlife, outdoor activities and birdsong.

The old workshop is less than a 10 minute walk from two good Pubs, The Staghunters Inn & The Rockford Inn. There are amazing walks from the doorstep, a favourite being the walk to Lynmouth along the spectacular East Lyn river via the National Trust tearooms at Watersmeet - The perfect place to stop for coffee halfway! You will love our luxurious newly converted barn with its woodburning stove and sauna. It is adjacent to our farmhouse so help is on hand with advice on the local area. Although we are in a secluded valley, it is just a short walk along the riverbank to the village stores, two recommended pubs and a tearoom, so no worries about whose turn it is to drive!
