Modern additions to the Cottage include central heating, wifi, fully equipped new kitchen, BBQ & fire pit. Sadly we can't accept children under 12 yrs of age or hunters.

Situated just 20 minutes from Bright, this masterpiece of Australian landscape is cradled by mountains, Happy Valley Creek and 20 acres of delightful farmland. Take a verandah seat to watch the morning mist quietly rise. Observe the abundant wildlife who are happy to call Oro home, or be intoxicated by the afternoon ‘golden hour’. Oro, a place of provision, unfolding beauty, rest and refreshment.

Tucked away in a stunningly beautiful valley in Wodonga, this home offers exceptional panoramic views of the Australian bush. The wildlife that surround the property is abundant, with dozens of kangaroos often found lounging in the floodplains and many bird species occupying the surrounding trees. It’s quiet, open and grounded. Light the fire, cook a proper meal, and settle in with a bottle of wine while the day winds out. In winter, the cold sets in and the fire does its job. In summer, it’s long evenings outside and clear skies overhead. You’re five minutes from town and close to the mountain bike trails, but once you’re here, it feels a long way from anywhere. This isn’t a polished wine country retreat. It’s a place to slow down, breathe it in, and spend time properly.

Bathroom features vanity cabinet with a stone bench top. shower and a front loading washing machine. Comfortable lounge with leather couches & efficient wood fire. Beautiful garden of diverse trees leads to a large olive grove, and paddocks with sheep and cattle. Fresh baked bread, home made jam & marmalade,
