Our family first crossed this summit in the late '90s. The endless views over cascading pines, harmonious wildlife, and starry skies caused us to settle down and we've been here ever since. Creekside Sanctuary

Creekside Sanctuary is a 6+ acre paradise for families, friends, celebrations or retreats. Naming this property was not easy, not only is this a Sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation, guests can also enjoy the popular site seeing and abundant wildlife native to our beautiful Black Hills. Whether winter or summer, there are activates nearby - fishing, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, ice skating. The large yard is host to deer and turkey, an ideal gathering spot for celebration, fun and games.

Falsebottom Hide-away

This is a great place to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature after a long day vacationing. Sleeps six with a secure fenced yard for the safety of your pets. Located in beautiful Maitland Canyon with seasonal Falsebottom Creek right off the private back deck featuring a BBQ and outdoor table. We have lived here for 40 years and are still amazed with the beauty of the Northern Black Hills. Close to so much, but with a real connection to the pristine nature that the Black Hills are famous for.

Amazing Creekside property thats simple and efficient. Centrally located within the Black Hills. Located west of Rapid City approximately 10 miles and approx. 30minutes to Lead, Deadwood, Hill City, Custer, & Mt Rushmore. The sound of the water in the creek, while going to sleep is paradise. Sip on coffee in the mornings on the deck. Wade in the creek while trout fishing. Cross the bridge and venture into the 3 acres that give access to the Black Hills National Forest and multiple trails.

This is the perfect location to access hiking, biking, scenic drives, and tourist attractions. **As we head into the winter months we want you to know that the Black Hills can receive significant snowfall. This house is in a great location in Rapid City, minutes from downtown and a great starting point for exploring the Black Hills. We welcome dogs in our home. No cats! Additional $150 fee will be added if cat is “snuck” into the home!. The yard is fully fenced and there is plenty of off street parking as well as use of a garage. ( Caution! Low Clearance). I am happy to help with trail maps and directions are you kick off your adventures in the Black Hills.
