Our Curious | Opossum Hollow

Welcome to Opossum Hollow in the quaint mountain town of Travelers Rest! Our partially restored 1984 Airstream Excella, lovingly referred to as `Possum Holler', is situated on the same property as our home. With a covered space for parking and a 35 foot skylight deck, this outdoor space is designed for cool evening lounging and warm afternoon napping. We worked with a number of local artisans to design and create the entire space, ensuring most every element is handmade, upcycled, and recycled!

Near Old Fort's downtown, restaurants, shops, brewery & winery within a few blocks. Hiking & cycling trails in Pisgah National Forest are close. It has a spacious layout and an outdoor, covered porch to enjoy the seasons. Designed for two, four can be accommodated using the sofa bed. Stocked with all the amenities you'll need to enjoy your stay and maybe a few extras, including coffee from a local roaster, teas and homemade bread. If it isn't available, check Railway Rest, a mile from town.

The tiny home is located in the scenic neighborhood of Haw Creek, tucked away in nature but only a 5-minute drive to downtown. The house is walking distance to Penny Cup Coffee and Creekside Taphouse, two local favorites. Large trees and wildlife abound in the backyard and can be viewed through the bedroom windows or from the brand new back porch. Inside, the tiny home has a modern yet rustic feel. You will find everything you need, and your host lives on the property and is just a text away.

Nestled on 66 acres with a gorgeous pond/farm view, you will find Goat Daddy's Farm and Animal Sanctuary. Our luxurious tiny house has everything you need to make your farm stay comfortable and relaxing. Guests will have access to the farm during specific hours, as well as over 2.5 miles of paths and two ponds to explore. With your feet in the sand, by a fire, in the hot tub, on the trails, or getting some goat/animal therapy, The Farmhouse and Sanctuary has something to offer for all.

Modern amenities and cozy features make for a perfect home base to explore all that Western North Carolina has to offer.

Conveniently located and surrounded by a large wooded property, you will find everything you need for a relaxing, comfortable stay. We are located 20 minutes from Clemson, 15 minutes to Anderson, and 40 minutes to Greenville, so there is plenty in the area to keep you busy. Located on a dead end street, the neighborhood is very quiet. Our home also has fast wifi and 2 smart TV’s to access any streaming service. We also provide cable. With plenty of parking space in the driveway for vehicles and a boat we can provide a peaceful getaway.

We have a gravel, long, steep driveway (AWD\FWD ARE RECOMMENDED! GUESTS WHO CHOOSE TO DRIVE DOWN & TEAR UP THE DRIVEWAY MAYBE BE HELD FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR DRIVEWAY REPAIRS!) & we’re tucked in down at the bottom of a 10 acre forest. No internet, wifi or tv service is available.
