Two minutes walk and you come to The Watermill Bakery serving delicious pizza on Friday evenings, except during winter. The Tree House is close to a small productive lavender farm, Lavender magic, who sell cut flowers in season, and Mount Holdsworth, where you will be able to access a wide variety of walking tracks.

This lovely, secluded cottage is a mere 30 minute drive from Masterton. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay or go and explore the area. Just a 10 minute drive to Riversdale Beach, a 15 minute drive to the Tinui Bar and Cafe and a 35 minute drive to Castlepoint. Riversdale Beach has a 18 hole golf course , a lovely store to go and get Fish and Chips, a sand beach with lifeguards and good beach fishing. The View

On a plateau overlooking the Ruamahanga river valley is our cosy two bedroom fully self contained cottage. The views are jaw dropping, backdropped by the Tararua Ranges. On the river flats below, summer crops form a patchwork of different colours. Above, the big sky can be an endless blue or filled with rolling banks of cloud and truly spectacular sunsets. At night the wondrous canopy of stars is why the region is an official International Dark Sky Reserve. It’s all utterly peaceful.
