Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. I rummet finns en bekväm dubbelsäng samt vid behov tillgång till en gästsäng för ett större barn och en resesäng för ett mindre barn.

The house is refurnished, and everything is welcoming and delicious. What you hear when you open the Balcony-doors, is the sound of the waves and the wind in the trees. Our lovely summerhouse from 1972 is perfect for silence & coziness and for active family living. We have a lovely livingroom with a fireplace, two bedrooms, a fully equipted kitchen and a small bathroom. Everything decorated with a colorful mix of the 1970s and modern living. During summertime you can use our terrasses, trampoline, bonfire etc in our big and private garden. If you are lucky you can watch deer ,squirrels, pheasants and sometimes even owls.
