Penrose is a 165-acre Washington state park located on Mayo Cove and Carr Inlet at the southern end of Puget Sound. The park has over 2 miles of saltwater shoreline as well as 2.5 miles of hiking and biking trails and an interpretive nature trail.

Lakebay--probably the closest hiking trails to the tiny house Penrose Point State Park is a 165-acre Washington state park located on Mayo Cove and Carr Inlet at the southern end of Puget Sound in Pierce County. The park has over 2 miles of saltwater shoreline as well as 2.5 miles of hiking and biking trails and an interpretive nature trail.

Another great place for walks on the water and a beautiful view of the Pacific Northwest. A WA state Park Pass is required.
