It's open till 2 am and it has everything you want + really great folks who work the register.

Crams a ton of stuff into a small space, including local and organic produce, some harder to find foreign food, as well as prepared food options. Open until 2 am (!) every day. If you miss the farmer's market, you can also buy local organic eggs here (they stock on saturdays and often sell out in a few days). And if you're going to one of the restaurants in this area of 55th street, they're all BYOB and you can pick up beer or wine here.

Find a nice bottle of wine, seasonal fruit and vegetables and a lot of all natural, organic and international groceries.

Open late (2 am most nights) and locally owned. Just a block away. Has sort of a random array of organic and conventional produce, but also some good treats and international snacks.

Call it "Hope & Produce", because small, indie-owned places like this offer hope in the midst of the big-box corporate march into every community. Small, funky, friendly, jammed full of good stuff.
