A beautiful, flat cycle path between Wadebridge and Padstow. Five miles along a peaceful disused railway track. Large car park and cycle hire available in Wadebridge, including baby buggy carriages, and tandem child/adult bikes, locks, and helmets. Take a picnic and enjoy the views or treat yourself to Rick Stein’s Fish and Chips in Padstow.

The Camel Trail starts here in Bodmin, this is for all ages as it's mostly nice and flat. Riding or walking or running you go as far as you like, from Bodmin you can go more rugged and head towards the moor. You can head off to Wadebridge and then to the amazing fishing port of Padstow. You can even stop off and get the Bodmin and Wenford steam train around Bodmin. All this within walking distance from The Bethany.

Hire bikes & follow whichever parts of the trail you like between Wenfordbridge & Padstow via the towns of Bodmin & Wadebridge. This flat disused railway line takes you through some stunning landscapes - woods, moor, towns & coastline. This is a good walking route too, although does get busy in the summer. Bike hire can be found in Padstow, Wadebridge & Bodmin. Lots of chances to grab some food on your route.

The Camel Trail is just 500m away and a great place to walk or explore by bike. Enjoy the scenery on the way to Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow (4, 8 & 14 miles away).

The 18-mile Camel Trail links Padstow, Wadebridge, Wenford Bridge and Bodmin via a largely traffic-free route that follows an old railway track alongside the river Camel. Great for cycling, walking and nature watching for all the family. Pick up the beginning of the trail, nearby at Wenford Bridge, near St Breward.
