Playground and sandy beach on the canal, great for quiet thinking time and birdwatching

You have to visit the beach when you are in Cali. Park is super close to the beach and public restroom. Address is close to free street parking. There is a fee if you park in the parking lot. Beach is perfect for sunbathing.

Just walk across the street at the traffic lights of either Prospect or Orange Streets - there is a beach shower at the end of the Orange St beach access path.... Children's playgrounds, picnic tables on a green stretching from the Santa Ana River to a set of tennis courts across from Sunset Ridge Park. There is also a wide sandy beach with posts for volleyball nets, room to play or sunbathe away from others and miles of shoreline for walking and waves to enjoy. You need a license if you plan to fish.
