Elegant, white table cloths, great food and service. Reservations recommended. Check hours of operation. Great view of the pyramids from the bar across for before dinner drinks. Chocolate souffle for dessert.

Amazing fine dining restaurant! The bar is less formal and has food as well! Both have amazing views as it is on the top floor of Moody Gardens Hotel!

Shearn's offers the best service in Galveston and possibly the best food as well. A friend who is a frequent world traveler told me that the chateau briand is the best she's ever had. There is a casual dress code (no shorts). It's expensive but a great place to go every once in awhile for a really special occasion. Next to Shearn's (on the ninth floor of the Moody Gardens Hotel) is a bar which has a piano player on Friday and Saturday nights. It's a great romantic spot.
