Awesome easy hike outside of the park. Especially beautiful in the springtime when everything is blooming!
Not crowded easy and free access trail for everyone enjoyment even my 3years old.
This is hiking trail where dogs are welcome at the corner of Mountain View Trail and Sunny Vista Rd. It is in a neighborhood and there is street parking only. Please respect the posted rules, keep your dog on a leash, pick up your dog poop and stay on the marked trails to ensure this area remains open to dogs and people in the future.
This is a seldom congested trail that has been a neighborhood secret for many years, that is, until the short term rentals arrived and all created guidebooks (like this one). It's still pretty secluded on most days. You can walk to the entrance from Desert Bohemia. This is part of the park but doesn't require a pass. Keep dogs on a leash and take a baggie or two with you.
