De Vos Almshouse (Godshuis de Vos) right down our little street were dwellings established in 14th century by wealthy townspeople or guilds to house poor elderly people or widows, before socialised retirement was provided by the government.

Stumbled across these & so pleased we did as they showed yet another feature of this delightful city. Very peaceful.
