I believe in learning about the areas I visit. I encourage you to visit the Old Courthouse Museum and learn about what made Sioux Falls and the area what it is today. It is free.

Make time for history at the Old Courthouse Museum. This beautifully-restored 1800s quartzite building has three floors of regional history exhibits. The Museum store includes unique and affordable Dakota-made gifts for the whole family. Free admission. Free parking. Wheelchair accessible. Open daily.

The Old Courthouse Museum is one of the oldest buildings in Sioux Falls. The courthouse was used for county business until 1962 and became a museum in 1974. Today you can learn about the regions history, and view the restored circuit courtroom and law library. Distance: 1.6 miles
