Not quite the most southern point of NZ (Slope Point has that honour) but it's the next best thing! And of course you need to have your photo taken by the sign! Keep an eye out for the Maui's link too!

This is and iconic place for a photograph of you depicting the south of the south. There is a walking track up Bluff Hill through bush or around part of the coast line back to carpark. Restaurant/cafe there also. Bluff Hill look out best if not windy🙂

Stirling Point is most famous for its signpost, which depicts directions and distances to major cities around the world. This signpost has featured in thousands of travellers photographs and is a must-do for visitors to Southland.
