This place on Irving Street is known for their pineapple buns and gets super crowded, like crazy crowded. Just factor in that you're going to be waiting in line, even if you order in advance. Try the ones with the slabs of butter, yeah.

Good pineapple buns. A misnomer, there are no pineapples in pineapple buns. They are called pineapple buns because the crust resembles a pineapple. Soft, fluffy, and crunchy. Located in the Sunset.

Amazing place for authentic Hong Kong style pineapple bread, highly recommend to try the pineapple bun with butter. The line can be long but it is worth the wait.
