Every weekend during the summer they screen movies at the Hollywood Cemetery. You bring a picnic and cocktails and hang out under the stars. From my experience it almost doesn't matter what you're there to see, though the cult films are fun because people yell out the quotable lines. Its so much fun to go to this cemetary and watch movies. You set up your chairs and blankets, bring food and watch the movie. They offer music before which is always good.

They play screenings of classic films at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Mobile tickets can be purchased online and scanned once you arrive. Pack a picnic, wine, pillows and relax with locals on the large field.

HOLLYWOOD - One of my all time favorite summertime LA events. You can bring booze, food and blankets and enjoy a pre-movie picnic. They also have a great movie-themed Photo Booth. Get tickets beforehand online, as they tend to sell out. Parking: buy a pass to park inside the cemetery or lyft/uber there to avoid parking mayhem.
