Dating back to the mid-19th century, this is one of the world’s oldest working music halls. After decades of neglect, it was finally restored and now has a fabulous selection of theatre, cabaret, music, dance, and opera. I love its intimacy and the genuine shabby-chic aesthetic. It’s like going back in time, but with a dance band for company. If you get bored just watching other people enjoy themselves onstage, why not try one of their fantastic workshops? Learn how to make props like a pro, write your own play, or just be a drama queen.

Really unique and historic venue with a diverse programme of weird and wonderful shows. A portal back in time to old East London when music halls were relatively common - this is now one of the last remaining few. Really cool bar inside too.
