Beautiful gardens, stunning views of Sidmouth to the left and Jacobs Ladder to the right.. it’s a must to see.. you will not be disappointed!! If you are lucky you may just have the pleasure of seeing and hearing the Sidmouth Town Band play in the bandstand. (Sunday evenings in the summer!)

Connaught Gardens and Jacobs Ladder can be found to the West Side of Sidmouth next to the Manor Road car park. Connaught Gardens are beautiful historic public gardens with a stunning view points on top of the cliffs looking over the town and out to sea. You can take a well earned break at The Clock Tower tea rooms and then climb down Jacobs Ladder the famed large set of steps that lead down to Jacobs Ladder beach, from there you can take the path under the cliffs back to the Esplanade and beach.
