This is the best place to visit the beach, launch your boat, etc. There are very well-maintained public washrooms and lots of tress, picnic benches, and a great pebble beach.

Windermere Public Beach, a short drive from Barnyard B&B. Not as busy as Invermere's public beaches and easily assessable for kayaks and paddleboards or just a swim. Features an adorable little island that you can swim or paddle to, with an Eagle's nest high above.

A beautiful pebble beach with picnic tables, small playground, treed areas, washrooms and swimming dock.
