Locally famous for it's large portion sizes and cheap menu, Grindleford Station Cafe is a favourite of walkers in the Padley Gorge valley. It is far from fine-dining but is a great spot for a well earned refuel after a long walk in the area.

Right on the doorstep, a traditional 'greasy-spoon' walker's cafe. Serving proper chips, full English breakfast and much more. No frills.

On the Hope Valley rail line, good for wholesome cooked breakfasts and sausage/egg/chips type meals.
