The San Antonio town council have given a one year permission to hold a weekly interactive local products market in the tiny village of Forada, next to the popular country bar of Can Tixedo in Buscastell, on the road from San Rafael to Santa Ines. The market, which is held every Saturday between 10am and 4pm, can have a maximum of 30 stands offering authentic local products. It has been set up by a collection of six different island groups, with the idea to promote the production and sale of local fruit and vegetables, cheese, marmalades, honey, wine, hierbas, sweets and pastries, as well as a whole selection of handicrafts and art works made by the people from Ibiza. There are also activities for children and live acoustic music, plus the opportunity to interact with both visitors and stall holders, in a beautiful natural environment.
