Guru watersports offer holiday camps for kids and kayak and SUP hire. Clear waters and good fishing. Enjoy a scenic walk across the bridge to Kingscliff town. Walk to the end of the breakwater in winter and you might spot a few whales.

Cudgen Creek either south side salt or Cudgen Creek boat ramp is a beautiful spot for a swim. On a sunny day the water is a beautiful turquoise blue. The boat ramp side has nice fish. If it has been raining the water is brown. Jumping off the bridge at high tide is popular with the children. You can hire kayaks and stand up paddle boards from the water guru by the bridge.
