Authentic Italian wood-fired pizza with delicious toppings and amazing flavors! Full bar and draught/canned beer. If you get there before lunch is over, you can get an amazing hot pressed sandwich (the roast beef is my favorite) that will make you want to go back every day!

Ellijay Wood Fired Pizza opened up in November of 2018 and is located at the corner of River Street and Main Street, anchoring the square in downtown Ellijay. Since then, the wood fired oven from Naples, Italy has been serving authentic old-world pizza using only the highest quality and locally sourced ingredients. Ellijay Wood Fired Pizza is located in a newly restored early nineteenth century former hotel and restaurant built at the height of the timber industry in the southern Appalachians and with the wealth that it brought. The restoration and renovation reflects the rugged mountain life in a thriving but remote town while modernizing the building to create a uniquely hip and lively space. This is complimented by the cuisine, which utilizes ancient cooking methods with modern, all natural flavors. Simple food with a modern twist. The Caesar salad and Burrata is amazing. All the pizza crusts are nice an thin!

Best pizza in town, maybe even all of N. Georgia. Handcrafted cocktails & beer, delicious salads and sandwiches and French onion soup to die for. Many ingredients are sourced from local farms. Great for families and take out too. Get there early, they are a small place and it gets busy!
